These new Rapid river sluices are beautifully made and finished to a very high level. Width at the mouth of the upstream flare is 38 cms -length overall is 1 metre and width at the exit downstream is 33 cms with a height of 10 cms . The riffle section lifts out for quick cleanup and there is a section of Miners Moss (spaghetti matting) at the top end which traps almost all the gold and blue ribbed matting underneath that which extends the whole length of the sluice.
